About
Why we do what we do
We make information, maps, geography and geospatial data clear, accessible and useful — turning it into insight, shared knowledge and practical tools that support better decisions and lasting outcomes.
Founded by experts in information management and senior-level decision support. We use geography, GIS, web-based tools, training and global competency frameworks to help organisations plan better and work smarter.
By connecting people, places and information — through geospatial intelligence, spatial data infrastructure, GeoEnabled digital twins, and robust information management that holds up over a whole asset life.
We are proudly independent and work globally across Architecture, Engineering, Construction, asset Ownership and Operations — for all infrastructure types and government property. We are based in the United Kingdom and support clients across EMEA, AMER and APAC.
Case study · King's Cross, London
In 2012 Argent engaged GeoEnable to set the information and GIS strategy for one of Europe's largest urban regeneration projects: 67 acres of brownfield land beside King's Cross and St Pancras, which would become 50 new and reused buildings, up to 2,000 homes, 20 streets and 10 public squares for some 45,000 people.
Argent had asset maps and plans but no practical way to share them or keep them current through constant project phases. Over twenty project managers, dozens of contractors and consultants, and data that changed every week.
We combined new business processes with ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Online — one of the very first ArcGIS Online implementations in the UK. That gave the estate one accurate shared record of every asset installed and planned, browser and mobile access for staff, consultants and contractors on site, a time-aware phasing tool showing how the site would look at different points in time, and thematic maps such as Floorspace Usage and Estate Common Asset Areas.

The most important outcome was not a piece of software. It was a trusted body of information about the estate — created once, used many times.
The same record fed estate management, construction logistics and clash detection, phasing and financial decisions, and collaboration with external partners. On a site that changes every week, a mistake corrected at source fixes every output at once. A decade later it still underpins what visitors see on the ground.
“GIS is a strategic asset management tool for business planning as well as site management.”
